Nigel & Fiona Williamson bought Barmston Farm in Woodmansey, East Yorkshire, in 2002 and have subsequently created one of the areas most talked about 5 star holiday parks offering holiday cottages and caravans, and a beautiful fishing lake. The superb location provides a relaxing and comfortable environment for people to enjoy and explore the many attractions the area has to offer.
This isn’t a large holiday park, but instead offers exclusive accommodation in beautifully maintained grounds with 3 luxury holiday cottages, and 5 static caravans situated near an ornamental pond with an island feature and seating area. Barmston Farm has earned its 5 star rating by providing quiet, high quality, well situated holiday accommodation in Yorkshire and the attention to detail is apparent throughout.
As well as short stay visitors and longer stay holiday makers, the location and facilities offer an ideal opportunity for people visiting family in the local area to benefit from the accommodation. People coming to the area for weddings, christenings, birthdays, Christmas, and other events have all used Barmston Farm as it is provides a welcome alternative to bed and breakfast or hotel accommodation giving freedom, space, and better value.
Barmston Farm is a child friendly and dog friendly holiday park. For the children there is a play area and a number of animals such as donkey’s, llamas, and pygmy goats, with free range chickens & ducks wandering the grounds. There is also the Rainbow Train to take them on a ride around the farm. The dog friendly accommodation is available for up to 2 dogs on certain units (there is a small additional charge), so please let us know when booking.
With excellent reviews and testimonials for all aspects of the Farm, this should be your next destination when you visit East Yorkshire (or North Humberside as it was formally known) to enjoy the best the area has to offer.
In addition to the larger towns and cities of Beverley, Hull, York, Bridlington, and Scarborough, Woodmansey is very close to Driffield, Molescroft, Skidby, Little Weighton, Anlaby, Willerby, Hessle, Leconfield, Cottingham, Kirkella, Swanland, Ferriby, Brough, Brandsburton, and Bishop Burton.
